The assignment activity provides a space into which students can submit work for teachers to grade and give feedback on.This saves on paper and is more efficient than email.This means your teacher is accepting late turn-ins.
The teacher can specify the maximum number of files which may be uploaded and a maximum size for each file.Depending on the status of your assignment, you may be turning your work in on time, late, or submitting revised work after it's been returned to you.Turn in work after making revisions to an assignment you've already turned in.Repeat the steps above to update your feedback and return the assignment again.Update how long you'll accept turn-ins at any time by selecting the assignment, then selecting Edit assignment.Students may be able to add a note (comment) to their teacher when the submit their work. Students may upload documents such as .docx, odt and PDF and the teacher can annotate directly on the student’s submission (requires Ghostscript and unoconv or Google Drive converter to be installed by an admin).With online text submissions, if the teacher sets “Comment inline” to ‘yes’ they will be able to give feedback on the student’s submission directly in one of two ways: Feedback comments: allows graders to leave comments about the students' submissions as well as grades.Students who have not turned in work will show as Not turned in. Select the top checkbox to return work to all students or select the checkboxes next to individual student names. When you've requested that students submit a revised assignment after you've returned it, revisit the assignment by opening it.You'll see Returned if you've already returned the assignment to that student. Select a box under Feedback to add comments for a student. Add points if have designated points for this assignment.
